The Burgess Farm is located at 24A Burgess Road in Foster, RI. It is 15 miles from route I-295 in Johnston, RI, and 7 miles from I-395 Killingly, CT. Below you will find directions to our farm and a map of the immediate area around our farm. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call.
From points North, East and South of Providence: find your way to Route 6 West or I-295, exit 6, in Johnston and head West on Route 6. Follow Route 6 West until you come section where Route 6 will fork, stay to the Right. Go past the reservoir and then Route 6 will take a Left, stay straight and continue on Route 101.
Stay on Route 101 for about 8.3 miles. You will know you are close to Burgess road when you come down a hill (at about 7.5 miles) where a building that makes palettes will be on your left and at the next cross road (Route 94) there will be a Gas Station.
Burgess Road will be coming up in about .5 miles at this point on your Left after the Gas Station. The sign is not very easy to see, so slow down. You will go down a slight hill and start up another. Look Left, there will be a road and a large rock at the edge to the road. Turn Left. - If you miss the turn, you will end up in Connecticut in about 1.5 miles.
Continue down Burgess Road for about 1.2 miles. 24A Burgess Farm will be on your Right and down a short lane. The farm is at the end of the lane.
If you miss the turn for the house this road comes to and end on East Killingly Road, just turn around and come back.
From Points West in Connecticut: When traveling West from Connecticut, the directions start from I-395 Exit 93 in Killingly/Dayville. After I-395, head East on Route 101 in CT. Stay on 101 for 4.7 miles in CT and then you will be in RI. Once you cross the RI border Burgess Road will be on your Right in about 1.5 miles. Be vary careful as it is hard to see from this direction.
When you take the turn onto Burgess Road, continue down Burgess Road for about 1.2 miles. 24A Burgess Farm will be on your Right and down a short lane. The farm is at the end of the lane.
