Burgess Farm Cemetery in Foster, Rhode Island

The Coutu family is in the slow, careful process of finding the old head and foot stones in the Burgess Cemetery. The stones have been uncovered, but still need to be placed up right. Some are very hard to read due to the type of stone that was used.

To take a short tour of the head stones that have been found below, just roll your mouse over the name, no need to click, and the head stone will appear to the right.

This is a listing of the members of the Burgess family Buried at the Foster Historical Cemetery #2

These inscriptions were copied by the Rev. Mr. Gideon burgess about 1909.
